"I was hungry and you gave me something to eat." --Matthew 25:35
Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.

In January 2010, Haiti experienced a massive earthquake that shattered the country leaving millions of Haitians without shelter, forcing them to live on the streets. In a country already facing financial crisis and food shortages, this has been devastating for the people of Haiti.
Many people in Haiti go without food and resort to eating anything they can get their hands on--weeds, tree bark, even goat feces. Mothers may not have enough food for the whole family and must choose which children get fed and which ones do not. At times mothers will feed their children clay patties called “te” just to put something in their empty stomachs. Children are starving and their parents often can do nothing about it. Without proper nourishment these children will die.

Haiti is a country filled with hungry people. Many are homeless. As a result, children are often abandoned and left to fend for themselves. Every child in Haiti deserves a chance to live. They need sufficient nutrition to help them survive and thrive. But many of these children do not even get one nutritious meal a day. Children are literally starving to death on the streets of Haiti.
In response to this urgent need to save starving children, Haiti Under God has partnered with other Christian ministries to deliver shipping containers filled with life-saving food. Each shipment, containing $46,000 worth of food, provides 270,000 meals to feed the children of Haiti.
We are feeding over 2,000 children a day. With your help we can feed even more. Each container of food is provided free to HUG. We are responsible for shipping the containers to Haiti, getting the food through customs, and distributing the food to schools and orphanages. We invite you to partner with us by helping to ship these containers of food to Haiti each month. We are in the right place at the right time and we are getting the job done—we are feeding starving children. We are saving lives. Will you help us?
